WHAT IS Thrombocid FORTE
Thrombocid Forte is a anti-varicose ointment, improves blood flow in the application area and thus reabsorbed clots.
It is indicated for:
- Reabsorb the bruises caused by blows.
- Relief from heavy legs in people with varicose veins.

COMPOSITION
- Active ingredient: sodium pentosan polysulfate (5 mg per g of ointment).
- Excipients: cetomacrogol 1000, cetostearyl alcohol, glycerol, decyl oleate, propylene glycol, levulinic acid, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, phenoxyethanol, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, butyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, dimethylol dimethyl hydantoin, isobutyl parahydroxybenzoate and water.

HOW TO USE
- Use in adults and children aged 1 year old: 3-4 applications per day.
- Use in children under 1 year old: There are not enough studies on the safety of this medicine in this population so its use is not recommended unless medically indicated.
Apply ointment is performing a gentle massage as well penetration is facilitated.
Wash hands each application of Thrombocid Forte.
If symptoms do not improve or get worse after 5 days of treatment consult a doctor.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Consult your doctor before using Thrombocid Forte if:
- If you are allergic to the active substance or to any other part of this medicine.
- If you have clotting problems.
- If you are currently being treated with any other medications.
Thrombocid Forte should not be applied to infected wounds, ulcers, cuts or mucous membranes.
Do not apply other topical preparations on the same area of ​​application where you are using Thrombocid Forte.
Avoid contact of this medicine with eyes.
This medicine should not be used on large areas of the skin nor for long periods of time.
Thrombocid Forte contains propylene glycol, cetostearyl alcohol, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, butyl parahidroxidroxibenzoato parahirdroxibenzoato isobutyl and so can lead to allergic skin reactions.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Pregnant or lactating women should not use this medicine unless medically indicated.

ADVERSE EFFECTS
Very rarely allergic reactions have appeared in the application site (redness and itching). These usually disappear after cessation of treatment.
