1. WHAT IS Vispring AND WHAT IT IS USED
It belongs to the group of medicines called for ophthalmic use decongestants act producing ocular decongestion.
It is indicated for the temporary symptomatic relief of conjunctival congestion due to: smoke, wind, chlorinated water, light, allergic conjunctivitis and other irritating agents.
2. BEFORE YOU USE Vispring
Do not use Vispring if:
· You are allergic (hypersensitive) to tetryzoline or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
· It has increased intraocular pressure (narrow angle glaucoma).
· He suffers from heart disease or have high blood pressure (hypertension).
Has a tumor in the adrenal glands (pheochromocytoma) - your doctor will tell you.
· Have overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism).
· Have diabetes controlled with insulin.
· This in antidepressant class inhibitors MAOI medicines or other blood pressure elevators.
· Have dry rhinitis.
· Have inflamed eye cornea and conjunctiva (keratoconjunctivitis).
· The patient is a child younger than 2 years.
Take special care with Vispring:
· If you have severe eye pain, headache, rapid changes in vision, rapid onset of floaters, sharp eye redness, pain after exposure to light or double vision. Should this happen should consult your doctor.
· If the patient is older than 65 years
Using other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription, homeopathic, medicinal plants and other health-related products, especially if you are using any of the following medicines as it may be necessary to change the dose of any of them: Antidepressant or blood pressure medicines.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines.
If you use any other topical ophthalmic product is recommended to wait at least 5 minutes between the two administrations.

Driving and using machines
Vispring has little or no influence on the ability to drive and use machines. On rare occasions, the ability to drive and use machines may be impaired due to glare or blurred vision.
Important information about some of the ingredients of Vispring
Contain benzalkonium chloride may cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with soft contact lenses.
Remove contact lenses before the affliction and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
Discolour soft contact lenses.
3. HOW TO USE Vispring
Follow the instructions exactly Vispring administration unless your doctor has given you different indications. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions.
This medicine is administered topically.
The normal dose is 1 or 2 drops in each eye two or three times a day.
Remove the tape from the container. Screw the cap to the bottom in order to pierce the container. then unscrew the cap and once again reclined head, make a slight pressure on it, which will be sufficient to deposit the drops in the eye. After the application is convenient flash gently for a few seconds to facilitate uniform distribution of the drops.
It should be used only for minor eye irritations. If you do not get relief within 48 hours or if redness develops or persists, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
It has been to use only up to oblivion symptoms and never for longer than one week.
If you use more than you should Vispring:
Overuse or oral ingestion may result in depression of the central nervous system.
There is a risk especially in neonates and children, by absorption of the product, for example due to ingestion.
Symptoms associated with overdose are dilation of the pupil of the eye, bluish discoloration of skin and mucous membranes, nausea, fever, cramps, abnormal heart rhythm, cardiac arrest, increased blood pressure, pulmonary edema, respiratory and mental disorders.
If you have used more than Vispring should immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist or call the poison control center, telephone +34 91.562.04.20, indicating the medicine and the amount used.
If you forget to Vispring
Do not use a double dose to make up for missed doses.
4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Vispring can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Uncommon (at least 1 in 1,000 patients): Burning in haw, eye dryness, redness rebound (hyperemia), palpitations, headache, tremor, weakness, sweating and increased blood pressure.
Rare (at least 1 in 10,000 patients): blurred vision, conjunctival irritation and pupil dilation (mydriasis)
Prolonged and frequent use can cause dry eye syndrome.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
5. HOW TO STORE Vispring
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not use Vispring after the expiration date on the carton. The expiry date is the last day of that month.
Discard the product 28 days after unsealing and opening the container.
6. FURTHER INFORMATION
Composition of Vispring
- The active substance is tetryzoline hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients (excipients) are: Boric acid (E-284), sodium borate, sodium chloride, disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride and purified water.
Vispring is a clear and colorless eye drops solution is available in packs of 10 ml.
