1. WHAT IS Glycerin Suppositories ROVI CHILDREN AND WHAT IT IS USED
Glycerol, the active ingredient of this medication is a laxative, which is administered rectally. The laxative effect is achieved by the ability of glycerol to soften the stool, with a slight local irritant action, gets stimulate bowel movements.
It is indicated for the symptomatic relief of transient and occasional constipation for children between 2 and 12 years old .
2. BEFORE YOU USE Glycerin Suppositories ROVI CHILDREN
Do not use Rovi Suppositories Glycerin Children:
· If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to glycerol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
· If you have anorectal disease, ulcerative colitis (a type of chronic inflammation of the intestine) and inflamed hemorrhoids.
· If you have cramps, colic, nausea, vomiting or other signs of appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, acute inflammatory bowel diseases, or in general, any situation of abdominal pain without knowing the cause that produces them
· In children younger than 2 years old.
Take special care with Rovi Glycerin Suppositories Children:
If the appearance of blood in stool, irritation, pain or no improvement should discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
Do not use this mediamento more than 7 days unless your doctor tells you.
This medicine is used only under strict medical supervision in patients with especially severe cardiovascular diseases (ie heart or bloodflow).
Using other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Due to the type of medicine being treated and its route of administration, does not affect the use of other medicines.
Pregnancy and lactation

Driving and using machines
Using this medicine does not affect the ability to drive and / or operate machinery.
3. HOW TO USE Glycerin Suppositories ROVI CHILDREN
Follow the dosing instructions exactly unless your doctor has given you different indications.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have doubts.
The usual dose is:
Administer 1 suppository a day, as needed, or as prescribed by the doctor.
Method of administration
After taking the suppository of the blister, insert the suppository deep into the rectum. Repress the evacuation as possible so that the medicine can exert its action, so that young children are advised to keep the thighs together for a short time.
Do not use the medicine for more than 7 days. If symptoms do not improve should discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.

It is unlikely that pictures of poisoning occur due to use.
Abusive prolonged use of this medicine and can lead to irritable syndrome (symptoms or discomfort as alternating constipation and diarrhea, abdominal cramps, bloating, nausea and gas) colon.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Glycerin Suppositories Rovi Children can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.
During the period of use of Glycerol rectally as a laxative, we have observed the following side effects whose frequency has not been able to establish exactly:
Irritation, itching or anal itching.

5. HOW TO STORE Glycerin Suppositories ROVI CHILDREN
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date on the carton after EXP. The expiry date is the last day of that month.
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. This way you will help to protect the environment.

- Each suppository contains 1.140 g of glycerol as an active ingredient.
- The other ingredients (excipients) are: stearic acid and sodium hydroxide.
