What is ENO Fruit Salt and what is it used for?

Fruit salt ENO is a medicine with antacid action and is indicated for the relief and symptomatic treatment of heartburn and heartburn in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

You should see a doctor if it worsens or does not improve after 7 days.

How to take ENO Fruit Salt

Adults and children over 12 years: the recommended dose is one sachet or an internal measure of the bottle stopper (5 g of effervescent powder) dissolved in a glass of water when symptoms occur, preferably 1 to 3 hours after meals.

No more than 2 doses should be taken in a 24 hour period.

1 Remove the cap from the bottle.

2 Pour the powder into the inner ring of the stopper until it begins to overflow.

3 Pour the powder into a glass of water and stir until the effervescence stops

If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, you should stop treatment and see a doctor.

Use in children under 12 years: This medicine is not indicated for use in children under 12 years.

If you take more ENO Fruit Salt than you should

At high doses, there may be an increase in blood sodium and metabolic alkalosis, manifested by the following symptoms: weakness, thirst, decreased saliva, dizziness, headache, decreased tension, and tachycardia (increased number of beats) from the heart).
