What Aero-red 100 mg / ml is and what it is used for
Aero-red belongs to the group of medicines that acts in the intestine, destroying gas bubbles, facilitating their elimination and alleviating the discomfort it causes.
It is indicated for the symptomatic relief of gases in adults, adolescents, children and infants.
You should see a doctor if it worsens or does not improve after 10 days.
How to take Aero-red 100 mg / ml
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years old:
The recommended dose is 100 mg of simethicone (20 drops or 1 ml) three times a day after each of the main meals. Do not administer more than 500 mg of simethicone (100 drops or 5 ml) per day.
Use in children:
Children under 2 years: 20 mg (4 drops or 0.2 ml) 3 times a day administered with a bottle or other liquid food.
Do not administer more than 200 mg of simethicone (40 drops or 2 ml) per day.
Children from 2 to 12 years old: 40 mg (8 drops or 0.4 ml) 3 times a day.
Do not administer more than 200 mg of simethicone (40 drops or 2 ml) per day.
This medicine is administered orally.
Aero-Red oral drops are strawberry flavored and can be administered alone or diluted in any liquid.
Shake before using.
If you take more Aero-network than you should
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, go to a medical center, consult your doctor or pharmacist or call the Toxicological Information Service, telephone: 91 562 04 20, indicating the medicine and the amount ingested.
If you forget to take Aero-red
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
