What Sinus is and what it is used for
Sinus Inhalations is a liquid for vapor inhalation.

This medication is a topical nasal decongestant.

It is indicated in adults and adolescents from 12 years old, for the relief of nasal congestion with excess mucus in case of cold or flu.

You should see a doctor if it worsens or does not improve after 5 days of treatment or if you have a fever, cough, headache, sore throat, or a skin rash.

How to use Sinus Inhalations
Use by steam inhalation. Do not ingest it or apply it directly to the nose.

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose for adolescents over 12 years and adults is half a stopper dissolved in water to inhale. If necessary, the treatment could be repeated up to 3 times a day.

You should see a doctor if it worsens or does not improve after 5 days of treatment.

How to use
This medicine is for use by steam inhalation only.
Heat water in a bowl until it boils. Get out of the fire. Then add half a cap of Sinus (equivalent to approximately 1.25 ml). Inhale the steam through the nose using a paper cone or covering the head and the container with a towel, or allowing the diffusions to spread in the room. Keep enough distance to avoid burns to the face from contact with hot steam and keep your eyes closed to avoid irritation.

Do not directly heat the preparation, or reheat over a fire or microwave.

Use in children and adolescents
Sinus Inhalaciones is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.

You should see a doctor if it worsens or does not improve after 5 days of treatment or if you have a fever, cough, headache, sore throat, or a skin rash.

If you use more Sinus Inhalations than you should
When using Sinus Inhalations as directed, overdose is unlikely.

Symptoms:
In case of slight overdose the following may appear: headache, vertigo, nausea, vomiting.
Severe poisonings are characterized by the following symptoms: shortness of breath, heart problems, coordination problems (awkward movements) and other central nervous system problems, seizures, coma.
Overdose symptoms may appear in children and especially infants, in case of accidental exposure.

In case of overdose or if you have accidentally ingested the product, immediately go to a medical center or consult the Toxicological Information Service. Telephone 91 562 04 20 indicating the medication and the amount ingested.
