WHAT IS passiflorine SOLUTION
Passiflorine is a sedative medicine formulated herbal: willow, hawthorn and passionflower.
Passiflorine is indicated to reduce nervousness and stress, as well as to help sleep.

- Active Ingredients: ethanolic extracts:
 . the aerial parts of Passiflora (Passiflora incarnata L): 100 mg per ml of solution.
 . the leaves and flowers of Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna L): 100 mg per ml of solution.
 . Willow bark (Salix spp L): 50 mg per ml of solution.
- Excipients: Glycerol, sucrose, ethanol, sodium salt, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium hydroxide, citric acid monohydrate and water.

Check with your doctor before taking passiflorine if:
- If you are allergic to extract willow, hawthorn, passionflower or any other part of this medicine.
- If you are allergic to nonsteroidal antiinflammatory medicines (NSAIDs).
- If you have asthma, stomach ulcers, kidney or liver disease, or if you have blood clotting problems.
- If you have any disease in which the body does not produce glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
- If the patient is a pregnant woman. Passiflorine is contraindicated in the last trimester of pregnancy.
- If you are being treated with any other medications, especially blood-thinning medications, sedatives or tranquilizers and vasodilators medicines or cardioactive medicines.
Avoid drinking alcohol while on treatment with passiflorine as this could enhance the sedation produced by this medicine.
This medicine contains sucrose. Note in diabetics or patients intolerant to certain sugars.
This medicine contains alcohol. Note in alcoholic patients, epileptics, pregnant and lactating women, children and patients with liver disease.
This medicine contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate so can result in allergic reactions.

Passiflorine should not take children under 12 years old unless medically indicated.

Salicylates contained in this medicine pass through the placenta in pregnant women and also excreted in breast milk of lactating women.
This population should consult your doctor before taking passiflorine.

This medicine can often cause drowsiness and reduced responsiveness so you should not drive or operate dangerous machinery while being treated with passiflorine.
