What Diltix is and what it is used for
Diltix is a colorless solution with a characteristic odor, for cutaneous use (on the skin).
This medication acts as a local pain reliever and anti-inflammatory.
It is indicated in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age to locally relieve mild and occasional pain and inflammation caused by: small bruises, bumps, strains, torticollis or other contractures, low back pain and minor sprains produced as a result of a sprain.
How to use Diltix
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist again.
Diltix is a medicine for external skin use only (on the skin).
Adults and adolescents over 12 years: Place the container in a vertical position at a distance of 10-15 cm and apply a thin layer of the product to the painful area 3 to 4 times a day, performing a light massage to facilitate penetration.
Wash your hands after each application.
Do not use more than 7 days in a row.
If you think the action of this medicine is too strong or weak, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use more Diltix than you should
Due to its external use, poisoning is unlikely to occur. In case of accidental ingestion, immediately go to a medical center or call the Toxicological Information Service (Tel: 91.562.04.20), indicating the medicine and the amount ingested, since it can produce: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness, vertigo , spasms and drop in blood pressure.
If you forgot to use Diltix:
Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose, just continue the usual treatment as soon as possible.
The frequency of applications and the recommended duration of treatment should not be exceeded.
