What Hansaterm 4.8 mg medicated plaster is and what it is used for
Hansaterm 4.8 mg medicated adhesive dressing is used topically to relieve muscle pain, for example low back pain, in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

How to use Hansaterm 4.8 mg medicated adhesive dressing
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Dose
A maximum of 1 dressing per day will be used.

Administration form
The dressing should be applied only to dry and healthy skin.
Remove the protective paper from the dressing and place the dressing on the painful area, with the adhesive side on the skin.
The dressing should be left in place for a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 8 hours.
To remove the dressing, lift up one corner and carefully remove it. After handling and touching the dressing, hands should be washed with soap and water.
Any residue that may remain on the skin after removing the dressing can be removed with vegetable oil, a moisturizer or cold water.
A minimum interval of 12 hours must elapse before the use of a new dressing in the same application area.

Treatment duration
If necessary, if the pain continues, new dressings can be applied, up to a maximum of three weeks of treatment. Please consult the doctor if symptoms persist.

If you use more Hansaterm 4.8 mg medicated adhesive dressing than you should
Overdosing with this dressing is highly unlikely.
