What Novidol is and what it is used for
Novidol comes as a gel for cutaneous use. This medication belongs to the group of topical anti-inflammatories.
This medication is indicated in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age for local relief of pain and mild and occasional inflammation caused by: minor bruises, bumps, strains, torticollis or other contractures, back pain (low back pain) or minor sprains. produced as a consequence of a sprain.
How to use Novidol
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age is 3 to 4 applications per day.
This medicine is for external cutaneous use, exclusively on intact skin. Apply a thin layer of the gel to the painful area with a light massage to facilitate penetration.
Wash your hands after each application.
If you use more Novidol than you should
Due to its external use, poisoning is unlikely to occur. In case of accidental ingestion, immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist or call the Toxicological Information service, telephone 91 562 04 20, indicating the medicine and the amount ingested.
