What Reflex Spray is and what it is used for

Reflex Spray is a solution for cutaneous spraying to apply on the skin.

This medication belongs to the group of topical anti-inflammatories.

It is indicated in adolescents from 12 years of age and in adults, for the relief of pain in muscles and joints in: bruises, sprains, sprains, trauma (blows) without open wound, muscle cramps, torticollis, back pain and low back pain (pain in the lower back area).

 

You should see a doctor if it worsens or does not improve after 7 days of treatment.

How to use Reflex Spray

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose in adolescents from 12 years of age and in adults is 1 pulse per application, as needed can be repeated up to a maximum of 4 applications per day.

How to use

Cutaneous use, exclusively on whole skin.

Apply directly on the area to be treated and without rubbing

Wash your hands after each application.

Hold the spray about 20 centimeters from the skin and press the valve, keeping the container in an upright position for a few seconds and wait for it to evaporate, without rubbing or massaging. Wash your hands after each application.

Use in children

Reflex Spray is contraindicated in children and adolescents under 12 years of age.

If symptoms persist, do not improve or worsen after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.

If you use more Reflex Spray than you should

If you have applied more Reflex Spray than you should, skin problems may occur.

If you have ingested (swallowed) you should go immediately to a medical center even if you do not notice symptoms, these may appear after 2 hours of ingesting the medicine. Accidental ingestion may produce a series of symptoms due to its camphor content such as characteristic camphor breath odor, heat in the mouth, thirst, sweating, nausea, vomiting, colic, headache, dizziness, delirium, nervousness, seizures of epileptic type, central nervous system depression and coma. Treatment of accidental camphor poisoning is symptomatic. Do not induce vomiting.

Due to its essence content of turpentine, menthol and methyl salicylate, if you have ingested it you may notice the following symptoms: heartburn, abdominal pain, intestinal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, pulmonary edema, hyperventilation, ketosis and respiratory alkalosis, acidosis metabolic, arousal, sweating, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), vertigo, dizziness, sweating, confusion, deafness, drowsiness, inability to coordinate movements (ataxia), depression of the central nervous system that can lead to coma, cardiovascular collapse and respiratory failure; fever, tachycardia, liver damage, blood in the urine.

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, immediately go to a medical center or call the Toxicological Information Service, telephone 915 620 420, indicating the medicine and the amount ingested.
