1. WHAT IS CRISTALMINA 10mg / ml AND WHAT IT IS USED
It is a medicine for external use containing chlorhexidine as active ingredient. Chlorhexidine is a disinfectant which is applied to the skin.
It is indicated for disinfection of minor burns, small superficial wounds and abrasions.
2. BEFORE YOU USE CRISTALMINA 10 mg / ml
Do not use CRISTALMINA 10mg / ml if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Do not use in eyes or ears, inside the mouth or other mucous membranes.
Take special care with CRISTALMINA 10mg / ml:
Being a product for use on the skin should not be ingested.
If you have any persistent symptoms should consult a doctor or pharmacist.
In case of accidental contact with eyes or ears wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of repeated applications, applications over large areas or if using bandages that clog the affected area can be encouraged that the product penetrates through the skin and produce unwanted effects.
The clothes on which there trickled CRISTALMINA 10 mg / ml should not be washed with bleach or other hypochlorites, because a browning occur in the tissues, but with household detergents based on sodium perborate.
Not be used in case of deep and extensive wounds.
Should not be used to disinfect the skin before puncture or injection, or for disinfecting surgical material.
Using other medicines:
Avoid using various disinfectants at once or successively, except with other cationic compounds.
Not be used in combination or after application of anionic soaps, acids, heavy metal salts and iodine.
Use in children
In children under 30 months of age should only be used under medical supervision.

Driving and using machines:
There have been no effects on driving ability and use of machinery CRISTALMINA after treatment with 10 mg / ml.
3. HOW TO USE CRISTALMINA 10mg / ml
Follow these instructions unless your doctor or pharmacist has given you different indications.
Clean and dry the wound before applying the medication. Spray the affected area once or twice a day.
If symptoms worsen after five days, consult your doctor.
If you use more CRISTALMINA 10 mg / ml than you should:
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, seek medical attention or call a poison control center +34 91 562 04 20, indicating the product and the amount ingested.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, CRISTALMINA 10mg / ml can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Allergic reactions may occur in the skin.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
5. HOW TO STORE CRISTALMINA 10 mg / ml
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store protected from light.
Do not store above 30 ° C
Do not use CRISTALMINA 10mg / ml after the expiry date on the
carton after "Expiry". The expiry date is the last day of that month.

CRISTALMINA 10mg / m composition
- Each ml contains 10 mg of active ingredient chlorhexidine digluconate as, equivalent
