What is Hidroxil and what is it used for?
The active ingredients of Hidroxil are the water-soluble vitamins B1 (thiamine), B6 ​​(pyridoxine) and B12 (cyanocobalamin) that are involved in numerous processes of human metabolism.

Hidroxil is indicated in: Prevention and treatment of deficiency of vitamins B1, B6 and B12, due to increased needs, reduced consumption or absorption, which could manifest as symptoms of back pain, convalescence or insufficient diet.

Hidroxil B1-B6-B12 tablets is indicated in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.

How to take Hidroxil
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 14 years old
1 tablet a day
In general, the treatment should not exceed 15 days, although your doctor may recommend administration for a longer time.
If it worsens or does not improve after 7 days of treatment, you should consult a doctor.
Orally.
It is preferable that the tablets are swallowed whole, with the help of a sufficient amount of water.

Patients with liver or kidney failure
These patients should not take Hidroxil.

Use in children
This medicine is contraindicated in children under 14 years of age (see section 2).

If you take more Hydroxil than you should
If you have taken more Hydroxil than you should, you may experience symptoms such as: gastrointestinal complaints (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting) and headache. Due to the pyridoxine content, it could suffer nervous disorders such as alterations or reduced sensitivity, tingling, numbness in the feet and hands, unstable gaits, etc; Sunlight sensitization may also appear with skin rashes; drowsiness, lethargy, respiratory distress, among other effects, depending on the dose, increased serum concentrations of AST (SGOT) (a transaminase) and decreased serum levels of folic acid. Rarely, a serious allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock) may appear.
In children, accidental ingestion of very high doses of vitamin B6 can also lead to deep sedation, weakness, and respiratory distress.
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist, go to a medical center or call the Toxicology Information Service, telephone: 915 62 04 20, indicating the medicine and the amount taken.

If you forget to take Hidroxil
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
