What Venosmil capsules are and what they are used for
Venosmil is a venotonic medication: it increases the tone of the veins and the resistance of the capillaries (small blood vessels).

Venosmil is indicated, in adults, for the relief of symptoms related to mild venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, such as pain, feeling of heaviness, tightness, tingling and itching in legs with varicose veins or swollen legs.

You should see a doctor if it gets worse or does not improve after 2 weeks.

How to take Venosmil capsules
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Only orally.
If symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks, you should stop treatment and see a doctor.
On the doctor's instructions, treatment can be continued with the same daily dose for up to 2-3 months.

Adults
The recommended dose of Venosmil is 1 capsule of 200 mg 3 times a day, generally coinciding with the main meals.

Children and adolescents
It should not be used in children and adolescents unless your doctor tells you to.

Instructions for the correct administration of the preparation
Once removed from the blister, the capsule should be ingested directly. It can be accompanied by water or another drink to facilitate swallowing.

If you take more Venosmil than you should
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist or go to a medical center, or call the Toxicology Information Service, telephone 91 562 04 20, indicating the medicine and the amount ingested.

If you forget to take Venosmil
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember, however, if it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the following capsules at your regular time.
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
