What Dolalgial is and what it is used for
Dolalgial is an analgesic medicine that belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is an effective medicine to reduce pain.
Dolalgial is indicated in pain of mild to moderate intensity.
How to take Dolalgial
Always take Dolalgial exactly as your doctor has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have doubts.
Dolalgial is administered orally. The tablets should be ingested whole without being broken or chewed, accompanied by 1 glass of liquid, preferably water. Administration should be done in conjunction with meals to reduce possible stomach discomfort.
Adults (over 18 years old):
The normal dose is 1 or 2 tablets up to 3 times per day, depending on the intensity of the pain, with a maximum of 6 tablets per day (750 mg of clonixin lysine per day).
Use in children and adolescents:
Do not use in children under 18 years, without consulting the doctor.
Patients over 65 years:
The treatment will be used with caution, following the doctor's instructions.
Kidney disease patients:
The treatment will be used with caution, following the doctor's instructions.
Patients with liver diseases:
The treatment will be used with caution, following the doctor's instructions.
The administration of this medicine is subject to the appearance of painful symptoms. As these disappear, the medication should be discontinued.
The duration of this treatment depends on the type of pain, intensity and the evolution of the disease. If the pain continues for more than 10 days or other symptoms appear, you should stop the treatment and consult the doctor.
If you take more Dolalgial than you should:
If the recommended doses are exceeded, headaches, dizziness, tremor as well as abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting may occur.
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist or call the Toxicology Information Service, telephone: 91 562 04 20, indicating the medicine and the amount ingested.
In case of massive ingestion, they will have to carry out a stomach wash and symptomatic treatment.
If you forget to take Dolalgial:
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
