Strefen Spray 15 ml

What Strefen Spray is and what it is used for
The active substance is flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that work by modifying the body's response to pain, inflammation and fever.

Strefen Spray is used for the relief of acute sore throat symptoms such as irritation, pain, difficulty swallowing and inflammation in adults over 18 years of age.

How to use Strefen Spray
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist again.

The recommended dose is:
Adults from 18 years:
Apply 3 pulsations to the back of the throat every 3-6 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 5 applications (15 pulsations) in 24 hours.
1 dose (3 beats) contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen.

Do not use this medicine in children or adolescents under 18 years of age.

For oral spraying only
                  Spray only at the back of the throat.
                  Do not inhale while pressing.
                  Do not apply more than 5 doses (15 pulsations) every 24 hours.

Strefen Spray is for short-term use only.
You should use the lowest dose you need for the shortest amount of time necessary to relieve your symptoms. If irritation occurs in the mouth, treatment with flurbiprofen should be discontinued.
Do not use this medication for more than 3 days, unless your doctor prescribes it.
If it does not improve, if it worsens, or if new symptoms appear, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Preparation (priming) of the pump
You have to prime (prime) the pump before using it for the first time (or after storing it for an extended period).
Point the nozzle in another direction (away from you) and make a minimum of 4 presses until a fine, even spray appears. The pump is ready for use (barley).
If you have not used the medicine for a long period of time, point the nozzle in another direction (away from you) and do a minimum of 1 spray, making sure that a fine, even spray appears.
Always make sure that a fine, homogeneous spray appears before using the medicine.

Performing the pulsation
Stand the bottle upright with the nozzle pointed toward the back of the throat.
Tighten the pump 3 times, with a quick, smooth motion, making sure to tighten it fully with each press. Remove your finger from the top of the pump between each press.

Do not inhale while pressing.
