WHAT ACTROMADOL IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Actromadol contains the active ingredient naproxen sodium, a substance that belongs to the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and works by reducing pain and fever.

Actromadol is indicated in adults from 18 to 65 years of age, for the symptomatic relief of occasional mild or moderate pain, such as headaches, dental, menstrual, muscular (contractures) or back (low back pain), as well as in febrile states.
You should see a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days for fever or 5 days for pain.

HOW TO TAKE ACTROMADOL
Follow exactly the instructions for administration of the medicine contained in this leaflet or those indicated by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose is:

Adults between 18 and 65 years
Take 1 tablet (660 mg of naproxen sodium) every 24 hours. The maximum daily dose is 1 tablet a day.
You should not take more than 1 tablet every 24 hours.

Over 65 years
Do not administer to patients over 65 years of age. Older people are more prone to adverse effects, so it is recommended to use lower doses in these patients.

Patients with liver, kidney or heart diseases: it is not recommended to administer this drug since in these patients it is recommended to reduce the dose, using the minimum that the patient needs. Seek medical advice.

Use in children and adolescents
Do not give this medicine to children and adolescents under 18 years of age, due to insufficient data available on its safety and efficacy.

Form of administration:
This medicine is administered orally.
Take the tablet whole, with a glass of water and without chewing, with food or milk, especially if digestive discomfort is noted.

The administration of this medicine is contingent on the appearance of painful or feverish symptoms. As these disappear, this medication should be discontinued.
If the pain persists for more than 5 days, or the fever for more than 3 days, or the symptoms worsen or different ones appear, you should stop the treatment and consult a doctor.
