WHAT IS CANESPIE CLOTRIMAZOL CREAM
Canespie Clotrimazole is an antifungal cream indicated for the treatment of so-called "athlete's foot" which is a fungal infection of the feet and often appears between the toes.
This fungal infection usually causes itching, burning, swelling, cracks and pustules on the toes.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Check with your doctor before using clotrimazole Canespie if:
- If you are allergic to clotrimazole or any other part of this medicine.
- If you are currently being treated with any other medications.
- If the patient is a child under 12 years, a pregnant woman or a woman breast-feeding.
Canespie clotrimazole is a cream to apply exclusively to the skin of the feet, apply it in other areas of the body.
Avoid contact of this antifungal cream with eyes or mucous membranes.
Do not use occlusive dressings on the area where applied Canespie.
This antifungal cream contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause skin irritation.
DOSAGE AND USE
Canespie clotrimazole should be applied morning and evening after washing and drying the feet, particularly the interdigital.
After the application is recommended Canespie a light massage, especially between the toes, to facilitate the absorption of the cream.
Wash hands after applying the cream.
The usual duration of treatment is 2, 3 or 4 weeks. Once the symptoms have disappeared must continue to apply Canespie 2 weeks to prevent relapse.
If after 10 days of treatment shows that symptoms do not improve consult your doctor or pharmacist.
It is advisable to wear shoes that allow ventilation of the foot.
Change socks after each application to minimize the risk of reinfection.
To avoid infections not go barefoot in public showers or pools, or share towels or footwear.
Canespie be applied in children under 12 years old under medical supervision.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Pregnant women who are in the first 3 months of pregnancy and women breast feeding should consult their doctor before applying Canespie clotrimazole.
The most common side effects reported in patients treated with clotrimazole Canespie are itching, burning sensation, swelling, blisters, irritation, dyspnoea and hypotension.
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion should go as soon as possible to a medical center or call the Toxicology Information Service: +34 915 62 04 20
- Active ingredient: clotrimazole (10 mg per g of cream).
- Excipients: cetyl palmitate, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, octyldodecanol, cetostearyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol and water.
