What Venoruton is and what it is used for
The active substance in Venoruton is oxerutins, which belongs to the group of Vasoprotective drugs, which protect blood vessels (systemic vasoprotectors).

It is indicated, in adults, for the relief of symptoms related to mild venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, such as pain, feeling of heaviness, tightness, tingling and itching in legs with varicose veins or swollen legs.

How to take Venoruton
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. If in doubt, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

Adults:
The recommended dose is 1 sachet a day.

Relief of symptoms usually occurs in the first 2 weeks of treatment.
If you don't feel relief after 2 weeks or your symptoms get worse, you should see your doctor.

On the doctor's instructions, treatment can be continued with the same daily dose (1 sachet) for up to 2-3 months.

Use in children and adolescents
This medicine is for adults.

How to drink
To open please separate the envelopes by the perforated area. Open each individual envelope by tearing the envelope from the point indicated by the arrow; if you cannot open the envelope by hand you can use scissors.
Dissolve the contents of the envelope in 1 glass of water and drink next.

If you take more Venoruton than you should
In case of accidental ingestion, consult your doctor or pharmacist, or call the Toxicology Information Service. Telephone 91 562 04 20.

If you forget to take Venoruton
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
