What Gelodol is and what it is used for
Gelodol containing Rosmarinus officinalis L., aetheroleum (rosemary essential oil) is a traditional herbal medicine used in adults for the relief of minor muscle and joint pain and minor peripheral circulatory disorders (with symptoms such as tired legs).

The medicine is a traditional herbal medicine for use in the specified indications based exclusively on its long-standing use.

What you need to know before you use Gelodol
Do not use Gelodol if you are allergic to rosemary essential oil (Rosmarinus officinalis L., aetheroleum) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine on irritated or injured (cracked) skin.

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before using Gelodol.
If symptoms worsen or persist for more than 4 weeks, see your doctor.
Stop using the product in case of redness, irritation or dry skin.
If joint pain appears accompanied by inflammation of the joint, redness or fever, you should consult your doctor.

Consult your doctor if you currently suffer or while taking the medication:
- inflammation of the skin or hardening of the area under the skin
- formation of leg ulcers
- sudden swelling of one or both legs, if you notice redness or heat or you have kidney or heart problems
- sudden sharp pain in one leg when at rest
 
Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not apply the cream near mucous membranes.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist in case of accidentally swallowing the cream.

Children and adolescents
The use of this product is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age due to lack of information.

Using Gelodol with other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicine.
Medicines can interact when taken simultaneously. No interactions have been described for Gelodol.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you might be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
Due to lack of information, it is not recommended to use Gelodol if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines
Gelodol has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Gelodol contains cetostearyl alcohol
May cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis).

How to use Gelodol
Follow exactly the instructions for administration of the medicine contained in this leaflet or those indicated by your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. If in doubt, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
Before use, pierce the tube by inverting the cap and screwing it down to break the seal on the tube.
Cutaneous use.

Adults and the elderly
Apply approximately 3-6 cm of cream 2 to 3 times a day on the affected area and massage generously. The amount of cream to use will depend on the area to be treated.
Wash your hands before and after using the cream.
Use the cream as often as the package insert indicates.

Use in children and adolescents
The use of this product is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age due to lack of information.
