What FAVE DE FUCA is and what it is used for
FAVE DE FUCA is an association of laxative plant extracts, that is, they stimulate intestinal activity favoring the evacuation of faeces.
FAVE DE FUCA relieves occasional constipation.
You should see a doctor if it gets worse or does not improve after 4 days
How to take FAVE DE FUCA
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
FAVE DE FUCA is administered orally: swallow the tablets with a glass of water.
In adults, adolescents over 12 years of age and the elderly, the taking or administration of a tablet after dinner is recommended. The laxative effect is reached between 6 and 12 hours after taking it.
Elderly patients are more sensitive to the effects of this medicine.
The maximum recommended duration of treatment will be 6 days; If after this period the symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you take more FAVE DE FUCA than you should
If you have taken more FAVE DE FUCA than you should, immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist. In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, call the Toxicological Information Service, telephone: 91 562 04 20, indicating the medication and the amount ingested.
If you have taken more FAVE DE FUCA than you should, you may experience abdominal pain, spasms, and massive diarrhea with loss of water and electrolytes. If the electrolyte imbalance is severe it can cause confusion, cardiac arrhythmia, cramps, tiredness or weakness that can be more pronounced in the elderly.
If you forget to take FAVE DE FUCA
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
