What Fortasec Plus is and what it is used for

The tablets contain two active ingredients:

Loperamide hydrochloride, helps reduce diarrhea by decreasing the activity of the intestine. It also helps absorb more water and salts from the intestine.

Simethicone breaks down the air trapped in the intestine, causing cramps and bloating.

Fortasec Plus is used in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age for the treatment of diarrhea when associated with stomach cramps, bloating and gas.
