This medication is indicated in the treatment of uncomplicated vulvovaginal candidiasis (a vaginal infection caused by a fungus called Candida).

The main symptoms are itching usually accompanied by increased vaginal discharge, pain and redness of the vaginal area and vulvar area, burning and burning sensation when urinating. These symptoms are not specific to vulvovaginal candidiasis. If in doubt, see your doctor.

The cream should be inserted deep into the vagina (see instructions for use of the applicator), with the patient lying on her back and with her legs slightly bent.

If symptoms persist after treatment ends or recur after two months, or you have problems with your immune system, HIV infection, AIDS, or diabetes, you should see your doctor.
