What Pyralvex is and what it is used for
Pyralvex develops an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action in inflammatory conditions of the oropharyngeal mucosa.
Due to its analgesic properties, the pain and the sensitivity of the tissue altered by inflammation are quickly suppressed. The mucous membranes can soon resume their physiological functions. Pyralvex is not aggressive on mucous membranes and its use is simple and painless.
Pyralvex is indicated for:
Relief of pain in mild inflammatory conditions of the mucosa of the mouth such as canker sores and irritations caused by false teeth and maxillary braces.
How to use Pyralvex
Always use these medicine instructions in this leaflet or as your doctor has told you. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and children over 12 years: apply three or four times a day with the help of the brush, in the affected areas of the mouth (after removing the dentures, if applicable).
Seek medical attention if the condition does not improve. If symptoms persist after 7 days, see your doctor.
Use in children under 12 years: not recommended before 12 years of age.
Rules for correct use
Shake the bottle before using.
Spread over the affected area with the brush and then clean the brush with water. Close the bottle tightly after use.
Do not rinse your mouth, eat or drink within 15 minutes of applying this medicine.
Do not exceed the established application frequency.
If you use more Pyralvex than you should
If the application frequency is exceeded, salicylate toxicity may appear.
An overdose associated with the local application is unlikely to occur.
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your doctor or pharmacist, or go to the nearest hospital, or call the Toxicology Information Service, telephone 91 562 04 20, indicating the medicine and the amount ingested.
If you forget to use Pyralvex
If you forget to use Pyralvex use it as soon as you remember unless the next dose is close, and then continue with the normal schedule. Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
